Children of Tara Foundation are encouraged to use their imaginations and to exercise their creative minds through creative writing. It enhances their capacity to generate alternatives. Their mental horizons are widened as a result, which can help them succeed in a variety of tasks, such as problem-solving and analysis. In addition to allowing students to explore their creativity and increase their comfort level while writing in and about real-world situations, creative writing has been shown to enhance language learning. At our very own Girukulum, creative writing has been used as a new approach to mastering a foreign language. Ways your child can benefit from Creative Writing

Tara Supports Creative writing workshop hence students can express themselves, inform their reader, to persuade a reader or to create a literary work. Creative writing entails more than forming one sentence after another. It fosters imagination and inspires children to have fun with writing. By expressing themselves in ways that are creative and compelling, they learn how to win over an audience’s attention.

Practising creative writing is about a lot more than just improving your grammar, spelling and vocabulary; it will allow you to develop your own unique voice and share your perspective without limitations, expressing how you feel about the worlds inside and outside of your head. It unblocks old patterns or habits of thinking. It allows for non-linear thinking. Creativity enables empathy. Creativity connects us to ourselves.

The use of creative writing might be for amusement, information, or persuasion. This kind of writing can be utilised to express emotion as well. The act of creating new worlds, scenarios, and people for your writing exercises your imagination. When you’re encouraging your brain to “think outside the box,” you’ll be more able to come up with creative solutions and approach difficulties from various perspectives.
