Project Empowerment
Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be.
When the families are economically empowered, they have the skills to determine their own future and that of their children as well. Our findings show that a large percentage of people in the B40 community do not have the correct information or guidance to start small businesses or even home businesses. This stems from the fact that many of them have little or no education at all about economic empowerment.

According to the Tara Foundation Giving the poor and needy a hand up rather than a handout is one of the finest methods to assist them. They feel that someone truly cares about them and is working to improve their situation when someone offers them moral support and exhibits genuine humility and respect. Giving them the chance to take control of their health would boost their self-esteem and assist them in conquering obstacles they encounter every day. Work with the poor and in needy individuals to help them identify their own skills and abilities and put them to use when the time is appropriate. Encourage them and let them know that they have assets that can help them achieve their fundamental needs.
People can also donate money to aid the needy and poor. Giving the poor money support can enable them to deal with their fundamental needs. Giving the needy and destitute money will enable them to purchase necessities for survival. One might join charitable organisations and donate money there to aid the underprivileged. Giving the poor people money allows them to purchase food for their families, a place to live, or clothing.
Volunteering one’s time and talents can benefit the underprivileged and needy. More people may join the effort if there is increased public awareness of the need to assist the poor and needy. Groups can be organised to aid the destitute by providing them with food, transportation to a shelter, and other necessities. Volunteers can instruct and assist them. These volunteers can assist in setting up free health clinics and inviting doctors to treat the underprivileged and destitute. Even the tiniest actions matter. Even a tiny amount of effort, done once a week, can make a huge difference in the lives of the poor and needy. Additionally, one might persuade friends or family to join for no other reason than a good cause.
The needy and the underprivileged can become independent by receiving knowledge. Gaining education is the first step toward overcoming life’s challenges. Giving free education to the poor and needy allows them to develop as persons and improves their quality of life. Their education will enable them to find employment, advance in their careers, find success, develop problem-solving skills, and lead fulfilling lives. Through the power of knowledge, those who are impoverished and in need can become independent, self-sufficient, and better individuals. Through education, we may assist the poor and needy in acquiring the skills they need to take charge of their own revitalization efforts rather than relying solely on outside assistance.
